To keep your Seamless Luxe hair extensions looking luxurious and ensure their longevity, follow these simple aftercare instructions:

Washing Your Extensions

• Like your natural hair, human clip in hair extensions should be cleaned regularly without being over treated.  Shampooing should only be done after 5+ uses, or when noticeably dirty.
• Use Seamless Luxe Shampoo and Conditioner to preserve the quality of the hair.  Apply sparingly and focus on the ends, avoiding product near to the clips.
• Use a gentle flow of tepid water whilst holding your hair extensions by the clip.  Do jot rub or twist the hair, but gently squeeze the shampoo through the hair from clips to ends.
• Gently squeeze our excess water and pat or squeeze dry with a towel.  Never roll or rub hair dry in a towel.

Drying Your Extensions

• Gently detangle the hair extensions with a wide tooth comb.  Start with the ends and work upwards to remove any tangles, be careful not to tug too hard.
• Using a large round brush, section by section, blow-dry the extensions using a medium heat setting on your hair-drier.  Always use a heat protectant before applying any form of heat to your extension hair.

Things To Avoid

• Excessive heat styling: Avoid using excessive heat on the extensions, as this can damage the hair over time.
• Sleeping with extensions in: Always remove your clip in extensions before bed to prevent tangling and unnecessary stress on the wefts.
• Swimming or showering: Avoid exposing your extensions the chlorinated or saltwater.  If you plan to swim, it's best to remove them beforehand.
• Colouring your hair extensions can lead to unexpected results and can compromise the hairs quality.

Routine Care

• Moisturise regularly: Since your clip ins don't receive natural scalp oils keep them hydrated with a leave in conditioner or hair oil, applied generously to the ends.
• Store properly: we would suggest using a trouser hanger to hang your extensions, store with clips closed to avoid tangling.
